Holotype: CAS-SU 7724. Paratypes: CAS-SU 7143 (27). Additional material: CAS-SU 22563 (5). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:29 [ref. 12291]. Current status: Valid as Acheilognathus cyanostigma Jordan & Fowler 1903. Cyprinidae. Distribution: East Asia: western Japan. Habitat: freshwater.
