Paratypes: CAS-SU 18117 (7). •Valid as Rimicola sila Briggs 1955 -- (Briggs 2002:443 [ref. 26018], Nelson et al. 2004:168 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:159 [ref. 37547], Page et al. 2013:173 [ref. 32708], Love et al. 2021:202 [ref. 39279], Page et al. 2023:152 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Rimicola sila Briggs 1955. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Guadalupe Island (Mexico) endemic. Habitat: marine.
