Holotype: CAS-SU 31522. Paratypes: BMNH 1938.5.6.1-8 (8), FMNH 47172 (12), MRAC 154693-96 (4), SAM 22272 [now at AMG] (2 + 2), CAS-SU 69112 (208), USNM 101281 (5). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:30 [ref. 12291], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:16 [ref. 12367]. •Synonym of Barbus radiatus Peters 1853 -- (Lévêque & Daget 1984:284 [ref. 6186], Seegers 1996:143 [ref. 23725]). •Synonym of Enteromius radiatus (Peters 1853) based on placement of radiatus. Current status: Synonym of Enteromius radiatus (Peters 1853). Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Habitat: freshwater.
