Paratypes: WGNHS 372a-c (3), 372e (1), 538a-c (3), 538e (1). •Valid as Coregonus johannae (Wagner 1910) -- (Lee et al. 1980:82 [ref. 22416], McAllister 1990:80 [ref. 14674], Scott & Crossman 1998:250 [ref. 24570], Lyons et al. 2000:39 [ref. 26594], Nelson et al. 2004:85 [ref. 27807], Bailey et al. 2004:145 [ref. 27882], Scharpf 2006:24 [ref. 30386], Page & Burr 2011:386 [ref. 31215], Page et al. 2013:86 [ref. 32708], Page et al. 2023:82 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Coregonus johannae (Wagner 1910). Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Distribution: Northeastern North America: lakes Michigan and Huron [extinct]. Habitat: freshwater.
