H.] 1895:453, Pl. 17 (fig. 3) [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 17 (no. 1012); ref. 5767] East of New Jersey,U.S.A., western North Atlantic, 39°03'15"N, 70°50'45"W, Albatross station 2222, depth 1535 fathoms. Holotype (unique): USNM 35634 (apparently lost).
