Mweru; MRAC 8198-8246 (48), 8425-8505 (31), 8552-8638 (87), 8705-8712 (8), 8788-8856 (69), 8885-8999 (15), plus 15 more lots at MRAC. •Valid as Barbus pseudognathodon Boulenger 1915 -- (Lévêque & Daget 1984:282 [ref. 6186]). •Valid as Clypeobarbus pseudognathodon (Boulenger 1915) -- (Conway & Stiassny 2008:262 [ref. 29761], Stiassny & Sakharva 2016:1410 [ref. 34176], Hayes & Armbruster 2017:351 [ref. 35417]). Current status: Valid as Clypeobarbus pseudognathodon (Boulenger 1915). Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
