Eigenmann 1922:148 [ref. 1243] and Eigenmann 1927:396 [ref. 12292] treated the species epithet as an adjective, so combined with a feminine genus, the species name should be conventa. •Valid as Argopleura conventa (Eigenmann 1913) -- (Román-Valencia 2000:462 [ref. 25256] as conventus, Weitzman in Reis et al. 2003:223 [ref. 27061] as conventus, Thomaz et al. 2015:Add. 5 [ref. 33893] as conventus, DoNascimiento et al. 2017:59 [ref. 35633] as conventus).
