Possibly a species of Oligosarcus? •Valid as Scissor macrocephalus Günther 1864 -- (Rosen 1972:17 [ref. 17822], Reis in Reis et al. 2003:156 [ref. 27061], Dagosta 2024:274 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Uncertain as Scissor macrocephalus Günther 1864. Characidae: Characids incertae sedis. Distribution: ? Suriname. Habitat: freshwater.
