[Tropical Fish Hobbyist v. 38 (no. 11); ref. 20690] Coast north of Nsinje River, about 1 kilometer south of the Mozamibque border, Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], southeastern Africa. Holotype: BMNH 1990.4.9.35. Paratypes: BMNH 1990.4.9.36-44 (9). •Valid as Iodotropheus stuartgranti Konings 1990 -- (Maréchal 1991:201 [ref. 20944], Stauffer 1994:340 [ref. 21573], Konings 2016:283 [ref. 34521]). Current status: Valid as Iodotropheus stuartgranti Konings 1990. Cichlidae: Pseudocrenilabrinae. Distribution: Eastern Africa: Lake Malawi. Habitat: freshwater.
