Current status: Valid as Lile nigrofasciata Castro-Aguirre, Ruiz-Campos & Balart 2002. Dorosomatidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern California (U.S.A.) south to northern Peru, including Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
