H.] 2004:39, Fig. 16 [Zootaxa No. 531; ref. 27697] Branch of Nzorband creek, near village of Nzorband, 0°34'06.2"S, 10°12'46.4"E, 12 kilometers north of Lambaréné, Moyen-Ogooué Province, Gabon. Holotype: CUMV 87039. Paratypes: CUMV 80133 (17). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:310 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Microsynodontis vigilis Ng 2004 -- (Ferraris 2007:310 [ref. 29155], Fermon et al. 2007:727 [ref. 30032], Fermon et al. 2022:158 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Microsynodontis vigilis Ng 2004. Mochokidae: Mochokinae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: Ogooué [Ogowe] River drainage (Gabon) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
