Holotype: NMV A334. Current status: Valid as Urolophus paucimaculatus Dixon 1969. Urolophidae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: New South Wales to southern Australia and to Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
