Type catalog: Vari & Howe 1991:31 [ref. 19022], Oyakawa 1996:483 [ref. 23140]. •Valid as Nannostomus britskii Weitzman 1978 -- (Weitzman & Weitzman in Reis et al. 2003:244 [ref. 27061], Marinho 2024:386 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Valid as Nannostomus britskii Weitzman 1978. Lebiasinidae: Pyrrhulininae. Distribution: South America: Amazon River drainage, Parantins, Amazonas State, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
