Collecting Event Remarks |
Water Temp. = 21 C. An area of moderately flowing stream with small dams built, access at a fallen log. Many of the fish were found behind these obstacles where the current slows and along the margin of riffles in the vegetation. Some males [Gasterosetus aculeatus] with nuptial coloration were seen. In riffles all but small fraction of stream width choked with emergent vegetation (60 cm). Also caught Gila orcutti,Gambusia affinis, and Catostomus sp. |
