Wide sash woven as part of Hopi woman's bridal outfit and also worn by men in ceremonial dances; Sash is woven entirely in braided technique and is completely undecorated; Both ends terminate in long plied fringes which are threaded through cotton-wrapped corn husk rings; Small bundle of feathers is tied to one fringe. |
