Description Carrying case presented to Hopi bride along with a woven cotton manta and rain sash; Case is constructed of numerous reeds laid in row with peeled wood rod at either end and twined together with 4 rows of white wool yarn to form flat mat; Braided cotton carrying handle tied to one end, and lengths of cotton string tied to handle for securing carrying case when it is rolled up with its contents.
