Description Non-regional rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Design consists of 3 large star-shaped motifs with terraced edges; Half the elements in each motif are red and half are black, all outlined in dark brown and on a light gray background; Entire design is framed on all four edges by a double, straight-edged border; Inner border is dark brown and includes a “spirit line at one corner, and the outer border is black; Selvage cords and end cords are all black and they are tied off at the corners to form short corner tassels.
