Description | Rectangular carrying cloth made from two warp-faced panels that are seamed together down the center; Center section of each warp-faced panel is plain brown, woven in plainweave technique, and flanked along each outside edge by series of colorful stripes, some of which are woven in plainweave (tan, orange, and pink), and some with complementary warps (pink and red); Flat joining stitch used in center seam was originally white, but has been replaced in sections with yarns of various colors (gray, red, dark blue, dark green, orange). | |
