Description | Dance sling consisting of a braided rope in colors of light and dark brown, white, gray, and gray-brown; Approx. half of the rope is woven with 8 strands in a continuous pattern of spiral zigzags with regular changes in color sequence and is round in cross-section; At the end, a bundle of additional strands form a tassel that conceals the braided strands within; Other half of rope begins with plain brown flat tapestry-weave section in center and then becomes a 7-strand flat braided rope with a continuous pattern of chevrons; At end, the rope gradually tapers and the remaining strands are tied off with one of the strands. | |
