Description Braided rope in colors of white, dark brown, variegated brown, and variegated gray, made from four plied strands, three of which are doubled at the beginning and wrapped around the fourth plied strand, to yield a total of 7 plied strands which are then flat braided; At the the finish end the strands are sewn or tied in place with a separate medium brown yarn and their ends left as fringes; According to field notes, ropes of this type are used for carrying and/or tying various materials and are generally made and used in pairs of different sizes; Companion piece to this rope is CAS 0514-0193.
