Deep round basket with narrow flat base and flaring sides; Woven in coiling technique over 3-rod foundation; design features 9 diamond snake patterns that rise vertically from base of sides to just below rim and are woven alternately in black bulrush outlined in red tree yucca root or vice versa; Rim is decorated by segments of ticking (alternating dark and light weft) alternating with plain segments. |
