3-dimensional carved figurine in standing position, representing Palavitkuna (Red Kilt Racer), who appears along with other runner katsinam during the spring dances to race the men of a village; Figure's upper torso is black while his shoulders, forearms, and legs are yellow; He wears a carved and painted red kilt and brown moccasins; His black case mask includes red tab ears and a yellow beak-like mouth; His elongated eyes are painted muddy yellow and the entire face is framed by double parallel muddy yellow lines; Four small feathers are cross on top of mask. |
