3-dimensional carved figure in standing position with articulated arms, representing Nahalish Okya; Figure wears purple satin dress with an outer black dress (made from piece of actual hand woven Zuni dress), carved and painted white moccasins, white leggings made from rubber-backed white woven tape; White muslin shawl, and necklace of plastic turquoise-colored beads; Face is painted white with orange band across eyes; Head is covered with real black human hair and tied in back into chongo hairstyle; Figure carries nothing in her hands. |
