Description | Coffin for secondary burial of bones, made from termite-hollowed log; Sides have been partially cut away from upper end, leaving 4 projecting spikes; Exterior is completely painted with ochre background; Top and bottom of tubular coffin are painted white; Mid-section is elaborately painted with six tortoise images and 7 catfish images in colors of black, white, yellow, and ochre, all swimming among lily plants; Possible animals tracks extend up projecting ends. | |
