Description Non-returning boomerang for hunting; Carved from single piece of wood of characteristic elongated shape with graceful curve and one end longer than the other; Underside is flat while upper surface is decorated with series of shallow, parallel grooves running length of shaft but stopping short of both ends, which are left plain; All surfaces are probably stained with ochre pigment; Trace of white pigment in groove separating plain ends from grooved midsection.
