Description | Elongated cylindrical war club carved from single piece of wood; Proximal half is carved in series of 5 contiguous, 3-dimensional diamonds with median ridge along length of shaft; Below the diamonds, the lateral edges of the shaft are straight and parallel, before expanding to form another diamond shape at the proximal end, with the tip of the diamond also functioning as the point of the club; This club is almost certainly a made-for-sale example. | |
