Cast bronze sculpture entitled "Flute Spirit", depicting a stylized human figure in standing position with arched back and head bowed forward; Figure has a single feather tied atop the long flowing hair, is dressed in a flowing robe that covers its feet, and holds an elongated flute in its hands, with one end held to its mouth and the other end pointing downward; Sculpture is signed along its lower edge "Namingha [copyright] 1982 [artist's hallmark] [#]9 / 18; Sculpture is secured by screws on dark wooden base that is contoured to the shape of the base of the sculpture. |
