| Description | Narrow rectangular tapa cloth made from strips of mulberry bark that have been beaten flat; Finished cloth is natural off-white color except for simple dark black geometric band that is stamped and painted along both long edges; The same band with heavier framing lines is also stamped and painted in the central design field in a wide zigzag pattern, forming a series of large triangles along the length of the cloth, with each triangle containing one or two black floral motifs. | |
