Description Round jar-shaped water bottle with flat base, rounded body, high rounded shoulder and short cylindrical neck with slightly flared rim; Basket is woven entirely in plain diagonal twining; warp material is probably whole peeled sumac shoots and weft material is probably peeled split sumac shoots; Single V-shaped wooden handle is attached to upper side just below shoulder with supplementary weft stitches; Interior and exterior of basket were originally coated with piñon pine pitch.
