Description |
Non-regional rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Central design consists column of 3 white serrated diamonds, outlined in black and then red, surrounded by a reciprocating white border with rectilinear extensions, outlined in black; Central design and border are all on a carded gray background; Plain red band is located at either end of rug; Dark brown selvage cords and red end cords were originally tied and knotted at corners to form tassels. |
