Description Non-regional rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Design consists of central column of 3½ concentric, serrated diamonds in colors of gray, orange, red, white, and dark brown, flanked on either side by column of red bars with multiple crossbars; Framing the rug around all four edges is an intricate double border made up of numerous parallelograms; Along the sides, these are stacked atop each other and grouped by color, with the inner border alternating white and dark brown, while the outer border alternates orange and red; The side borders have serrated edges; Along the ends, the parallelograms are laid side by side resulting in straight edges, with red, white, orange, and dark brown used in both borders; None of the borders extend all the way to the edges of the rug, leaving a final outer border in carded gray, the same as the overall background color of the design field.
