| Description | Small round basket with rounded base and rounded flaring sides, woven in coiling technique over 3-rod foundation; Warp material is willow shoots and primary weft material is peeled and split willow shoots; Designs are woven of black devil's claw and consist of a plain black circular area in center of basket, encircled by a black band that is 2 coils wide; Designs on side of basket include band of 5 motifs that resemble goblets; Three lightning motifs, 4 small individual triangles and 1 pair of small triangles are pendant from rim; Final rim coil is woven entirely in black devil's claw. | |
