Description Five-sided Chilkat blanket, largely rectangular with triangular bottom edge; Woven of wool-wrapped cedar and wool warps and natural and dyed, hand-spun wool wefts; Central image of diving orca is flaked by various animal and clan symbols in blue, yellow, green, black, and white; Double white and black borders frame entire panel; Long fringe along lower edge; Warps are braided along sides; According to Harold Jacobs of the Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, the image on this blanket is an orca emblem.
