Description Large, flat rectangular storage bag woven in 2-strand plain twining technique; Warp and primary weft material is hemp (hop twin is used sporadically throughout as the weft); Leather drawstring is threaded though sides just below mouth of bag; Designs are woven in false embroidery technique of both wool yarn and dyed corn husk fibers; Design on front face of bag consists of two columns of 6 stacked "X' motifs in red wool yarn, with each "X' separated from the one above and below by a solid line in red or yellow wool and dyed (color undetermined) that extends across entire width of bag; Design on reverse face of bag consists of 3 columns of stacked parallelograms of dyed purple (and other undetermined colors) corn husk fibers, with ends of each parallelogram edged in red or black wool yarn; All designs are woven on background of undyed corn husk fibers, which are also woven in the false embroidery technique.
