Description Each legging consists of a single, trapezoidal piece of hide, folded lengthwise and sewn with long, hide fringe; Ermine fur and red dyed feathers are attached to fringe; Hem is fringed as well; Crow stitch, or modified lazy stitch beaded design consists of a long, narrow white band with blue triangles bordered in red extending from below top to hem fringe; Collected by American artist Maynard Dixon (1875-1946) prior to 1940.
