Round dinner-sized plate with flat base and shallow, flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and burnished; Band of eight elongated contiguous triangles, each with a 3 short ticks pendant from one corner, encircle the interior rim; Center of plate is undecorated; Plate was reduction fired to yield black on black design; Signature "Marie + Julian" is incised in printed lettering on underside. |
