Description | Deep round basket with rounded base and sides, rising to a very wide mouth; Basket is woven in coiled technique over a bundle foundation; Warp material is bear grass stems and primary weft material is peeled and split willow shoots; Single loop covering 3 coils is woven on one upper side; Basket is completely without design, except for large rim section that has been natively repaired by replacing the damaged section with a section from a second basket that originally had an indeterminate geometric design woven of black devil's claw pods. | |
