Description | A: Sword with wooden hilt wrapped in twisted silver wire and plain silver sheeting, with a saucer-shaped silver disc between the wire and sheet wrapped areas; Hollow, silver ball shaped like garlic bulb surmounts proximal end of hilt; Long slender steel blade is slightly curved and expands slightly toward distal end; Blade is stamped near hilt with two floral-like motifs; B: Wooden sheath wrapped in silver sheeting ornamented with twisted wire appliqué on both faces; Braided black cotton (?) carrying cord is wrapped around proximal end of sheath. | |
