| Description | Fighting and hunting club with heavy, cylindrical shaft that expands to maximum diameter near distal end; Both distal and proximal ends taper to blunt points; Wide band of shaft near distal end is carved in high relief with projecting rectangular knobs similar to texture of pineapple; Proximal end of shaft is marked all over with shallow adze marks, providing gripping surface; Shaft above and below "pineapple" band is marked with shallow, parallel grooves running length of shaft. | |
