Description | Knife consisting of a short cylindrical wooden hand grip area that separates into two canoe-shaped extensions toward the distal end; Each distal extension is carved with a shallow groove along its upper surface, into which are fitted three shark teeth side by side; Each tooth is drilled through its center and individually lashed to the wooden shaft with sennit cordage that is looped through the tooth and the underlying wooden shaft; Heavier piece of sennit cordage is looped through hole drilled through distal end of hand grip area. | |
