| Description | Round shallow basket with flat base on short footed pedestal and widely flaring sides, woven over a bundle foundation; Warp material is split cattail stems and primary weft material is split yucca leaves; Designs are woven of black devil's claw pods and consists of a continuous rectilinear fret that includes 4 internal meanders and encircles the sides of the basket; Final rim coil on basket and also on short footed pedestal are both decorated with diagonal overstitch of black devil's claw. | |
