Description Hour glass shaped, single-headed hand drum carved from single piece of wood; Two flaring handles (1 open, 1 solid) are carved at mid-section; Lizard skin is stretched across one end and secured with cloth wrapping; Several drops of resin are affixed to center of drum head to aid in resonance; Body of drum is carved with low-relief "eye" images and painted red and white.
