Description | A: Single-edged, broad-blade sword with hand-forged, curved steel blade and inlaid with brass plugs on blade and geometric design near hilt; Horn grip has brass end caps on both ends; Brass guard is plain band; B: Wooden scabbard whose two halves are joined together and wrapped on outside completely in two overlapping pieces of shark skin; Proximal end is wrapped with brass cap; Shark skin is partially held in place by two brass bands at center of scabbard which also support brass bar along top of scabbard for attaching carrying strap. | |
