| Description | Cribbage board carved from single walrus tusk; Playing surface on dorsal surface includes 12 playing areas (each with 10 drilled holes for game pegs with 4 additional holes between playing areas), flanked by etched pairs of walrus and seals on ice flows; Etching on ventral surface of tusk shows man in kayak hunting walrus in water and 2nd walrus on ice flow; End of tusk provided storage for now-missing gaming pieces. | |
