Description Pair of tweezers hand-fashioned from strip of steel that has been hammered flat and folded in half to form the actual tweezers; Prior to folding, the edges of each half were cut so that the proximal end of the folded tweezers has a narrow elongated handle, an expanded floral-like mid-section, and an expanded distal end whose tip is folded inward; The outer face on each distal end is inlaid with small brass decorative designs and scratched with shallow crosshatch markings; Narrow steel band is wrapped around proximal handle to control the tweezer’s “spring” and can be slid back and forth; Where the halves of the tweezer are folded over each other, a small steel pin has been inserted and fitted with a horseshoe-shaped loop for fastening the tweezers to a chain or belt.
