Description |
Painting on rectangular piece of eucalyptus bark, depicting pair of magpie geese standing next to each other; Geese are painted in colors of black with red, yellow, and white cross-hatching on their wings and heads; Their color patterns are slightly different, suggesting they may represent a male and a female; Top and bottom edges of paintings are reinforced against warping by peeled wooden rods that are lashed to the actual painting with plied native cordage or string. |
