Description | Untitled self-portrait watercolor painting on white mat board, depicting the artist dressed in a brown parka with fur-lined hood and seated with his hands resting on a tabletop; A microphone with the radio station call letters "KFAR" (Fairbanks, Alaska) is in front of him; Background is lightly shaded gray; Signature "Robert Mayokok" is painted in gray script in lower right corner; During the 1950s, Mayokok took a series of odd jobs, including translating news and other stories for radio broadcasts in Fairbanks; This painting is based on a publicity photo of Robert Mayokok in the Robert O.C.
