Description | Model canoe oar in typical elongated flattened shape with tapered, spatulate paddle at distal end, with constricted, compressed cylindrical handle at proximal end; "Paddle" portion is painted on each face in formline technique with nearly identical design of a whale in red, blue, and black; Instead of being a mirror image, the "eye" of the whale image on one face is turned upside down in relation to the image on the first face, i.e., the image is identical when the oar is rotated vertically; Handle portion of oar is undecorated. | |
