| Description | Painting on flattened sheet of eucalyptus bark, titled "Two Mythical People", depicting the Dreamtime legend of a woman named Akurindipa and her husband, who lived in a place called Mangongon and who later transformed themselves into two large rocks; Scene is depicted with two stylized human figures standing with a tree between them; Images are done in white and mustard yellow pigments or watercolors against a plain rust brown background; Peeled sticks are lashed with native cordage to front of panel along both side edges to prevent warping. | |
