Pigment painting on flattened strip of eucalyptus bark titled, "Mimi Women Dancing Yam Dance”, depicting two very tall and thin women dancing amid yam vines; All figures are first painted in white and then further embellished with brown and mustard brown pigments, all on a plain brown background; Stripped and peeled wooden rods are secured along both top and bottom edges of eucalyptus panel with four short pieces of native cordage to prevent warping. |
